  1. Perfect for its job Review by Hawkeyes8Amp

I work in a job that requires that I drive hundreds of screws a day. Although tools are provided for me, I choose to bring in my own Bosch PS20-2A because its super light weight makes it easy to use and its effective power is astounding. Additionally, the battery has a long life and charges quickly, all the controls are easy to use and well positioned, and its size makes it easy to use in cramped areas. This is the perfect tool for driving screws and I cannot recommend it highly enough. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  2. Small Package, Big Punch! Review by Kyle

This pocket sized drill not only is powerful but it lasts a long time too! You can complete small to medium jobs with one fully charged battery. Leave the big drill in the work shop because this little wonder drives the screws home. Perfect for the home owner that wants a compact quality tool for a reasonable price. GO BOSCH! (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  3. A great drill that I use for everything. Review by woodie01

I have 2 of these neat little drills, and use them all the time. My PS20 has replaced a larger 14.4 Dewalt drill for most uses. I use it in cabinet work, electrical work, and general all-round work. It gets me into small spaces, has more than enough power for my uses, and the batteries last and last. I am giving one to my son for his father's day gift. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  4. Great tool that does the job! Review by JohnD

this compact drill is a great tool for tackling jobs in tight areas. the battery life is excellent, as well as the power. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  5. Lightweight and powerful! Review by mikeydv

I was a little weary about this at first, wondering if it would be able to "keep up". Much to my surprise, it did, and it did it well! I'm an Aircraft Technician, some days I pull out hundreds of screws at a time! Some of them get really stuck in there and this lil driver most of the time can torque it out. Those big 18v clunky drill / drivers are a thing of the past for me. Batt life is good, charges quick. If I have to dig for a complaint... the flashlight that came with it, good luck finding a replacement bulb. They can be found, but not eaisly. I give the tool 5 stars! (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  6. excellent value! Review by greenlamar1

Have owned several brands in past. Employer switched to Bosch cordless drivers and I was thoroughly impressed with it's toughness and long battery life. Ps20-2a has surprising torque for size. Can handle any job around home. Compact size makes it easy for wife to control. Bosch got this one right!!! (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  7. Out standing driver Review by killerkeck

When I first saw one of these drivers I thought it was a wimpy little weekender tool. After I used on I went right out and baught one myself. I use it more than my 24v hammer drill. I have never stripped out a screw since using this tool, not even brass hinge screws. The charge on the battery will last and last. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  8. Mighty Mouse Has Nothing On This Tool Review by ToolTime2

This tool is so small and light, well designed and an absolute work horse!

I was putting together a work bench kit and screwing the table top on from the bottom... the light weight, powerful LED light, and amazing torque cut this uncomfortable work position to an absolute minimum.

Also I thought the price was a bargan given it is Litheon Ion battery technology and came with two batteries.

My advice buy it, you will just love it! (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  9. GREAT TOOLS Review by CHRIS

I have Two of these now one 10.8 volt n a 12 volt n the 10.8 has l;asted me a few years. it beats snap on by far which a coworker bought n it took a dive after 6 months. so he went back to a bosch1 (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  10. Good Driver Review by WindyCityKayaker

This is a nice 12V driver, but I like the newer Bosch PS21-2A better since it has two speed settings and more torque. But this little beast still gets used from time to time and its gets the job done. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  11. Power to spare Review by yubadan

I borrowed my friends Bosch PS20-2A, I've used cordless screw drivers in the past and found them to drop power fast but I found the PS20-1a has great lasting power, I put up a lot of shelves in a walk-in closet and at the end of the day it still had power to spare. I now own one. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  12. Best drill I've ever owned. Review by gildedrain

I bought this drill, along with the impact driver counterpart as a kit, and they are my go-to drills for 95% of all drilling and fastening operations. The convenience and ergonomics are fantastic, and if you have any doubts about the impact driver's abilities... my brother and I were driving 3" drywall screws into two 2"x"12" LVL beams with plywood sandwiched between them. My little 12V Bosch impact driver beat his heavier 18V Makita on every screw and outlasted his battery too. :-) (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  13. Huge power in a compact package. Review by KevinFu

I was looking for an inexpensive compact driver to supplement a corded hammer drill (for lighter duty projects), and this model has exceeded my expectations. With long battery life, two included batteries and a quick charger, you're never out of juice.

I was a bit skeptical, at first, of the lower torque rating, but in practice, it's highly capable of almost any kind of drilling or driving, including large 3-tooth spade bits and hole saws (provided that they have the 1/4" hex shank).

This is my first Bosch power tool, but won't be my last. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  14. Impressive for it size! Review by coalguy

Not my main tool, but very handy, and impressive for it size. The battery will keep the charge for a long time in storage, and will last a surprisingly long time in use. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  15. Handy Review by dsevans

This drill is my go to tool. It is light, handy and holds it charge. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  16. best coerdless drill/driver tool I have ever owned Review by Wishicouldownthemall

A friend let me use his construction project--I was hooked the very first time I used it. Went out an bought a combo kit with impact also it. I take them both with me on every project , (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  17. This is exactly what I needed. Review by JSDW

I use the PS-20 around the house for driving screws and assembling household items. It holds a charge forever, and has plenty of power for all my projects. I can change bits quickly and easily. The size is perfect for easy handling. I'd highly recommend this Bosch product. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  18. Lightweight, always ready, reliable, long lasting Review by IvoC

I have the pocket driver for over 2 years now. It’s always ready, the battery last ridiculously long, if it happens to run it down – there is no way you can run the second one down before the first is fully charged. Plenty of power for everyday activities, it’s so lightweight that renders the 4V class tools obsolete. Another big plus is the smart charger – smarter than most competitors’ ones – it takes in consideration if the battery is hot to go easy on it which prolongs its life (I have experience with other brands where charging hot batteries killed the battery). I’d always choose Bosch tools. As a practical example - I worked on 1 charge with the pocket driver and the impactor with 2 batteries putting together a play castel for my kid - pilot wholes, screws, lugnuts.. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  19. Great little driver Review by Ghostryder63

I bought this little critter about a year ago to replace an 18V drill/driver for home projects. It has done everything I want to do and never missed a beat. I have to admit, I was a bit sceptical about going from 18V to 12V but around the house and shop it is working great! If you need a reliabe driver, this is it. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  20. this product is very handy Review by greattools

this compact driver fits well in your hand, has plenty of power, and the battery packs last long time in between charges (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  21. What a great little drill Review by cubman

This is an incredible compact drill, I am always waiting for the next home project to come up so I get a chance to use this excellent little drill. The only problem is my oldest son who loves helping me with projects has found out how handy this drill is as well. We love it! (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  22. Perfect sized driver Review by bcmrbill

I bought this as a companion to my PS31 drill. The size is perfect, and the speed is great when I'm driving lots of screws. The light is pointed just about perfectly, and the balance is just as great in my hand as the drill. Perfect size and power for arthritic hands. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  23. Love The Size Review by myke243

The main reason I purchased this drill is because of the size. I build a lot of furniture and had a difficult time getting into tight places with my bulky drill/drivers. I was leery of the 12V battery but, this drill has power plus. Best money I have spent in years on a power tool. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  24. Convenience of size Review by Wretchedr

I have the early model and have been VERY happy. I am a part time handyman and have worked on a number of projects for a friends Day Care Centers. The small size means it fits easily in my apron pocket, which is where it can normally be found, but it still packs a lot of staying power for driving screws. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  25. Light weight, long run time, Good value. Review by pepflyer

I use this tool for telcommunications equipment rack instalation.
It is, for me, like a third hand!
I would recommend it to anyone doing light assembly work.
    Fast and efficient...

    Thanks Bosch! (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  26. Great Tool Review by Butch

I've had my PS-20 for over 3 years now and I use it more than any other Drill/Driver I own. Besides using it for normal applications, I also find it invaluable at my reloading bench where I use it to chamfer cartridge mouth's and true the primer pockets. These processes are long and tedious and the tools light weight makes it the perfect for these jobs.

Besides the drills outstanding performance in a huge variety of applications, it's Lithium battery seems to last forever. I absolutely LOVE this tool and would recommend it to anyone.

Please keep making tools like this and I will never purchase another brand. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  27. Perfect size and battery life Review by RDSTek

I do low voltage installation for work, this driver is the best cordless drill driver I have, and trust me I have been through far more drill drivers then I would have wanted to pay for. This tool is so effective I have 3 of them. Regular price it's a good deal, if you can get it on sale, even better. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  28. This is a recommended purchase Review by jc1042

I own this cordless tool and love it. It is well balanced and light enough to use for long periods of time without becoming fatigued. It is dependable and holds a charge for a long time!

I recommend this tool for the handyman as well as the professional. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  29. Amazing compact tool Review by BaldEagle5556

I love this compact driver. My favorite for driving screws, drilling etc.

Just amazing. WTG Bosch!!!!!! (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  30. Great light weight tool for a tiny woman! Review by maclancy

I have a small window treatment business. I build a lot of valances and cornices which require using a power screw driver. I just love this pocket driver. It's got great power, it's light weight and when installing it doesn't hurt my wrist because it's nice and light. It has made my job so much easier then using those big heavy ones. Thanks for making such a great, powerful and affordable tool.

  32. ERGONOMIC -HARD WORKER - VERY HANDY Review by TFDESIGNS

I BOUGHT THIS TOOL WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT - IT IS SO HANDY - IT IS A HARD WORKER - COMPACT & LIGHT WEIGHT - I ALWAYS HAVE WITH ME - EVEN WHEN I HAVE TO TAKE THE "BIG- TOUGH" TOOLS WITH ME. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  33. This tool should Get Gold Awards Review by Stephenk302

I was fixing the Boards on my Trailer and it was really getting hard working by hand , so I went over to the Neighbors and Borrowed his Pocket Driver . This Little Power house Took what I thought was going to be a three hour job of Replacing all of the Nails in the Boards of my Trailer With Screws down to an Hour and a Half . I was Extremely Impressed . I will be purchasing One For my Tool Box Soon. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  36. Awesome little drill Review by Mike Wonder Lake

I had the 10 volt version and found the need to have the recip saw. I found a combo kit at Menards by me that had this upgrade along with it. Both use the same battery as the 12 volt version of the impact that I use as well. Awesome and powerful little drills!!! (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  37. Overall, and excellent tool & am glad I got it. Review by doct stan

I received this tool a few years ago because my "reward points" were expiring & I thought I needed another drill like a hole in the head. I am so glad I got it; I use it all the time, and feel guilty that I stopped using my workhorse. Small, powerful & never stalls. The hex bits are nice, but costly compared to regular bits. As a screwdriver and socket driver, it's excellent. I epoxied 2 magnets on the top so I can interchange drill bits & screwdriver bits easily & not misplace them as I'm using the drill.

I don't know how this compares to the newer hammer drill, so I can't comment.

It would be nice to have a hard case & magnets or ciips that I mentioned above. The battery replacement policy sounds great but I have not needed to replace the battery. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  38. So handy that it's indispensable Review by Taylorgso

Bought this a couple years ago after having used a smaller 3.6V by another manufacturer which was nice but too underpowered. The Bosch has plenty of power, came with two batteries - each with excellent useful life. But the best part is how handy it is; it's small enough to fit in my pocket. Like all my Bosch tools, you can feel the quality when you pick it up. Dropped it several times without damage. And if you do happen to deplete a battery, the charger will bring it to full in a matter of minutes. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  39. Poor battery life Review by Jerry in SC

The 12v lithium ion battery only lasted about six months. When I tried to get a replacement under the useless "2 year guarantee program," I nearly drowned in red tape and inefficiencies. I had registered the tool but the person I was trying to deal with said I didn't register the batteries. Needless to say, IMHO, their customer service sucks. The tool itself is pretty good, admittedly, but worthless
Junk without power (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  40. Great Product Review by JLPruit65

I got this driver and a impact driver in a set and they are very light and powerful too. Long Battery Life also. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  41. A small tool that does a big job Review by Ron Williams

This is the handiest and most useful tool in my collection, I wouldn't think
of being without one of these now. Of course I'm a little biased toward
Bosch tools anyway, you can't find that quality anywhere else. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  42. It works or big or small jobs Review by Danny

It is very versitile and allows you to have better manuviour ability. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  43. Useful Review by JWCC

This is a very useful tool and saves a lot of time and effort when driving a significant amount of screws. The PS21-2B is a bit more versatile but I haven't been able to bog either one down with screws up to 3" (#9). (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  44. Good for the money Review by Toby

This is a great and portbale small tool. I have had mixed reaction to the battery with intermittent speed issues. Also, the speed is slow for most drilling I want to do. I would consider the Makita 12v to be a more versatile tool with 2 speed settings for the same price. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  45. My "GoTo" Driver Review by Hardware Nut

I have an earlier version (PS20 10.8 volt) of this driver and it is my favorite driver to date! The pros in order of importance to me.
    - Lightweight
    - Easily fits in nail pouch without fear of falling out. No special holder required
    - Comfortable grip, easily managed with one hand
    - Powerful enough to drive 3-3/4" screws into softwood and hardwood (with pre-drilled pilot hole)
    - LED Illumination of tool tip and fastener. Great for under-counter or any other dark locations you may find yourself driving fasteners.
    - Owned/used for over 5 years. Same batteries in use today
    - Fast recharge

I can only imagine that the newer 12 volt battery version is more powerful then my 10.8 volt. I contacted customer service and they assured me that the newer 12 volt battery would work in my version of this great tool. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  46. Excellent Product Review by fxs111

I enjoy using this product. It is very lightweight and durable. Also, I have had no issues at all with it. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  47. Awesome tool Review by Darron

I am an electrician and this tool is awesome. Prefect weight and fits in a tool belt nicely. The adjustable torque keeps from stripping delicate screws on devices( switches and receptacles)and conduit fittings. The batteries will last a couple of days in this tool. I was so happy with it I bought a second one for my apprentices to use. The led light is also suprisingly bright which is important because a lot of my work is performed with the power off. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  48. very good product Review by Robert L

Handy. Light weight. Easy to change bits. Watch out the amount of torque will catch you off guard (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  49. Worth Every Cent I Paid for It Review by Jack001

I've had this tool about a month now and have used it to replace 13 exterior steps to my home as well as to repair a picnic table and an outdoor small table. I pre-drilled all screw holes with the tool and then used it to set all screws (3 1/4" screws in the stairs), along with some 1/4" lag screws in places.

The tool maintained power through all tasks and set all screws easily. The batteries charged quickly.

The quick-change chuck works easily and holds the bits flawlessly.

The one deficiency I found is the placement of the LED light. It would be better positioned at the front of the tool near the chuck. In its current location, it doesn't really light the work space. This is a minor complaint though, since I usually work in daylight. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  50. I bought this to replace the charger and batterys Review by blueeyedc0wb0y

One of the batteries is bad already and the little drill is ok for a helper to start out with (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  51. Better tools available for the money Review by 10thTee

I bought this product without realizing that it was a speed loader rather than a twist-to-tighten or loosen device.  I prefer the t-t-t option but decided to keep it anyway.  My only real concerns now are that the available drill bits are too long for tight space drilling and drilling speeds are too slow.  My guess is that it was designed mainly for small nut tightening/loosening or screwdriver operations and it works reasonably well for those operations.  All-in-all I think there are better tools on the market for each of these uses. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  52. Best hand held cordless pocket driver Review by Ricochatrabbitt

As a screen installer. I have to use a variety of tools. The top of my list is the Bosch PS20-2A. This cordless driver can really take a beating. I have dropped this thing of a balcony, 3 stories up. Good thing it was in the back yard. Lesson learned. I am screaming at myself for destroying a good tool. I picked it up and pulled the trigger. Wow!!!! what a surprise. It worked great. I still have it. My pocket driver came with a holster. The problem is if my mechanic needs to borrow it, there is no way he can hook it on his belt. They need a new handle, with a pop out hook. There when you need it, not when you don't. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  53. excellent addition Review by lojen

I got this tool a month ago and has been a great addition to my toolbox.
The small size and the power make this one of the best I have seen. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  54. Still kickin after 7 years. Review by Yoda4561

This was my first 12v Bosch tool, bought close to when they first came out. A great tool when I was doing retrofit work on tall ladders with dropped ceilings in place. It's been dropped, rained on, covered cement dust, and still works just like new to this day. The batteries are the original Bat411 that it came with, and while they don't hold a charge quite as long they still work reliably and long enough to get things done. That 100 inch pounds and 12v battery is enough to drive dozens of cement board screws which is one of the most difficult fastening tasks I've put it to. It was slightly underpowered for that but still managed to get it done and seat the screws flush with the cement board surface. For its time a fantastic tool that could use a higher speed mode and just a bit more torque which has been addressed in the updated version. (Posted on 9/26/2013)
