  1. Good Sound and will take the heavy abuse Review by Davealwaysprepared

I used this product at my boating dock last summer for several weeks. I listen to my CD's and Radio on a battery and a electrical cable hookup and was very impressed. It has some great features such as, the charging base and cell phone use and most importantly, the extra outlets to connect other devices when needed. The best is yet to come " It will withstand heavy abuse" for sure...Job site...yes! The only disappointment I had with it was with the reception it needs some improvement...however I would buy it! 2. Compatibility and improvements to the powerbox Review by chanko

Not compatible with IPHONE, make IPHONE compatible so you can play streaming internet radio such as Pandora. The radio does not come with internal battery pack or battery at all. Battery packs go on tools not on radios, in order to get improved mobility, provide battery pack that is internal to radio. Also programming radio stations to the radio is not desireable, hard to do and time consuming. make it more simplistic, better buttons. Sound is great but unless you have alot of batteries carrying the radio to a remote site is tough. Overall AWESOME! (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  3. Great Sound Review by PowerBoxFan

The Power Box 360 Deluxe has great sound and was perfect for working out doors. It's ruggedness let me just set the music and not have to worry about it being knocked over. It was just what i was looking for. Also, spring for the "Fat Pack" battery so it will last longer. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  4. PB360D- Great sound and durable build! Review by mtncarpenter

While shopping for a new jobsite (tough) radio this summer my requirements were as follows: Durable(weather proof), great sound, able to play CD, remote control, HD(hybridized digital)ready. The PB360D definitely seems durable and the sound is by far the best of this class of radio. Weather proof ability remains to be seen. I have some concern in particular about the four small speakers pointing upwards and how they will be able to handle rain. Of course the position of the speakers is a large contributor to the great sound! I gave up on being able to play a CD as no manufacturer offers this feature on a jobsite radio anymore. Of course I can plug in an auxiliary unit and have that if I desire. The remote control (hanging on my belt loop) is a great feature, although it works less well in the full light of out doors than it does inside. No manufacturer of this type of radio offers HD capability. This is shame, as their is a lot of content being multicast out there on both FM & AM in CD quality sound! The reception is acceptable but should be better considering the price of this radio. In regards to the price, I spent way more than I originally intended to but did so due to the build quality and superior sound. I look forward to the next model with continued improvements, hopefully! (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  5. Product is great addition to any His/Hers Workshop. Review by Sugardoggies

HIs workshop is great but Hers is better. Women like attractive looking tools and the PB360D is a Beauty! (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  6. Perfect for the "SAWDUST- MAKER"! Review by HankDYank

Just the right tool to help me "make sawdust" in a location where I don't have a power outlet and need "my tunes" toget me thru the job.
Oh! the item pictured is an IRON either with coals or hot water. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  7. Expensive but Worth it! Review by Boschinator

More times than not, you get what you pay for; and this 360Deluxe is no exception. Great sound from all directions. Nice selection of inputs in the media bay. Rugged as all get out! To make it perfect; get it out of China (with the rest of your tools) and place IR remote sensors on all four sides. It is a "360" after all. :-) (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  8. Awesome sound! Review by SteveW

I needed a jobsite radio recently, and after reading some reviews in Fine Woodworking, or Fine Homebuilding, (I forget which one)
I decided to check out the Bosch box.
This thing is great! Incredible sound, and doesn't take up much room.
Just the ticket, and the ability to add my USB thumbdrive helps also. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  9. Perfect jobsite radio. Review by atpro25

Durability is unreal, sound quality stunning! Feature loaded for ease of use. Top notch radio from a top notch company. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  10. Good Sound for a work stereo Review by Randy

    Great sound. seems tough

    Cons
Little cord for iPod phone is useless too short and most people on jobsites have a Otterbox type of case so the 90 degree connector bottoms out on the case before the cable can be fully inserted. I had to rip the case off my phone till I replaced the cable to a straight connector.

Also the manual says "may not charge some USB devices" should be changed to "may charge SOME Usb devices". I tried an iPhone, Ipod Ipad Samsung Galaxy III and a hand held GPS. It charged NONE of them So I got a cigarette USB connector that stays plugged in all the time

Little things but not a deal breaker (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  11. GREAT SYSTEM Review by iflyaaord

This is perfect fro the jobsite due to all the features available on it in one unit. PB360D = VERSATILITY (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  12. great quality Review by JimJr

I own the 360s and bought the 360d for the remote and more power; need to make it a FAST CHARGER, add Bluetooth to the list of options, hide the remote so the crew can't wear the remote battery by a tool laying on the buttons, make the clock last longer when down to the AA backup, make the GFI covers for individual plugs because they stick out and people not careful (it is a construction site) tend to break them. One last minor detail--it would be nice to know the sat radios that are conpatible with the radio, list it on your site info. These are SMALL issues compared to the great radio quality--this thing is FAR BETTER than any of the other options on the market (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  13. Too many short sights to be granted an excellent review Review by grandmaster

The reason this job site radio fails in my review is not because it isn't a good product it is , but the potential is right there and yet we can't access it

No where is it mentioned not even in the manual the memory limitations of this unit which are

You can't access more then 4 gb of music
On the USB drive and the sd drive

Further STILL this unit when put on random will only access between 200-250 making your memory access about 1 GB !!!!!
Give use folders and more memory !!!

Since there's no CD player it's this or radio

Currently I use my iPod which I can't access unless I open the dust proof door If my iPod was able to be controlled on the up front controls I wouldn't care AS MUCH

But serious whats the point of giving us USB and SD compatibility and wasting ??????

SD cards can go up to 64 gb now or more USB drives too

Also when I use this thing I'm working I'm not trying to spend ten minutes setting up my radio so PLEASE WITH THAT IN MIND why doesn't it remember my EQ settings its not like I change this I pick the eq I like and then turn it off and have to do it again etc .... It's well within this units capabilities to remember that

Also the antenea should be made out of the bars you have enclosing this unit making it UNBREAKABLE

Give us THESE things in a firmware update and this is hands down

The best radio ever well still is but it's just dumb not to have it even If to get these I have to use my SD drive as a ram upgrade and could only access the USB drive in this way I'd still be down with that (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  14. The jury is still out on this one Review by Tucker

This radio is perfect for what I was looking for---a durable radio for sirius radio; however, I have only had it for less than a year with very minimal use, and the port for the sirius radio will not supply power to my satellite radio(it started fading on and off about 3 months ago and now no longer works at all...I even tried a different satellite reciever).

I will be contacting Bosch tom. to see how they will handle this. It is a spendy radio, but I have no problem paying the price if it works and/or Bosch stands behind it with a speedy replacement. I am in a very rural area so a service center is not worth the drive...I am hoping all the money I paid for this radio is worth some exceptional service. My rating for this product could go up to excellent if I can get a replacement after such short and minimal use; however, I would rate it poor if I am asked to take it to a service center or it won't be replaced after such short and minimal use. I will follow up with how this is handled.

If anyone from Bosch is reading this and would like to contact me to take care of this please contact me by the e-mail on this account I set up to write this review. Thanks, Tucker (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  15. PB360D Great Product Review by gatoravi8tor1

I am a professional in the construction industry and have used other jobsite radios in the past. This unit simply blows them away. NOTHING BETTER!!! It is tough, dependable and has a fantastic sound. It is a little pricey, but in most cases you get what you pay for. Try this one out, I don't think you will be disappointed. After purchasing one for the jobsite , I bought another one to use around the pool area at home. GREAT PRODUCT. Thanks, Jeff B. Florida (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  16. Perfect sound inside or out with multiple sources Review by Chi

Highly recommend durability and great sound. Only short coming is that my satellite radio is not compatable. Plugs in OK but won't play-it is not listed as one of the recommended radios. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  17. Great radio! Review by ittebas

Easy to use.  I got this after my brother in law used his at the drive in theater.  I love that I can plug in my iPod.  This will be a great addition to indoor/outdoor activities.  Sound quality is good and AM/FM range works well.   (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  18. Great product Review by Roderick

There is a Bosch radio in our office. A co-worker tasered it with 50,000 volts for 5 seconds. Just had to reset the breaker and it was was good as new. This radio runs 24/7 for the past 3 years without issue. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  19. battery charger Review by Kazzak

product looks very well built & would buy one except it was not designed to charge smaller batteries (12V) like the ones used in pocket drills/drivers. For the price they are asking, you should be able to charge all Bosch batteries! (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  20. Great sound and very rugged! Review by Bobb1

I bought this product over a month ago and am more than satisfied with it. Would like a longer battery life. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  21. Sounds great Review by boschmanbrian

I have the old PB10 cd, because I have the whole line of blue core tools. I use this unit regularly . the only thing I don`t use would be the charger, works ,but takes to long to charge, aside from that it is great, I have the remote witch is a nice feature. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  22. Very Good Radio - Just not perfect Review by JWCC10

After lightning took out my old Powerbox 10CD this one was bought as a replacement. I liked the old unit and had not planned on replacing it since it met my needs.
This unit has a bit more volume and definitely improved radio reception. The sound quality is an improvement. The run time on battery is better than the old unit using NiCads. Control functions are very similar to the old unit so the learning curve was very short. Same ruggedness as its predecessor.
The cable issue could be resolved with Bluetooth connectivity but that could also be an issue on a job site with interference from other devices.
The variety of outlets provides work arounds for chargers for specific devices. Haven't tried MP3 directly from media but the unit work fine with my iPhone and old iPod. (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  23. Good but ... Review by igorfil

The box doesn't read USB and SD card if they are larger than 2Gb. Bosch, with all due respect, what year are you living in?

Other than that it's a nice radio. Probably the best on the market (Posted on 9/26/2013)

  24. happy to have it Review by Rayb

like the radio,it sounds great. it has all the features you could ask for. (Posted on 9/26/2013)
